Amanda Seyfried: I’ve considered having plastic surgery
In Time actress Amanda Seyfriend has confessed that she has considered having a nose job and other procedures to alter her appearance.
However the 25-year-old – who stars alongside Justin Timberlake in new sci-fi thriller In Time – also said that despite contemplating such options she was happy to leave her looks as they were for now.
‘I’ve considered a lot of things – like I want to have a nose job and fix my skin, but I just think that maybe at some point people would go too far,’ she said. ‘I’ll age gracefully for now. I’m only 25.’
The actress said the film – set in a world in which people stop ageing at 25 and have to ‘buy’ time to go on living – tapped into people’s obsession with clinging on to their youth.
‘If we could stop the ageing gene at 25, we would do that,’ Seyfried added.

‘All the people with all their money, they spend all their time shooting things in their faces and doing stuff that probably isn’t good for you, just to look a certain way. It’s like, we’re troubled.’
Amanda Seyfried did admit, however that she would be happy to continue looking 25, if it were possible.
I’d say yes now, because my 35, 45, 55-year-old self would be like, ‘Of course!’ she joked. ‘Ask me in ten years. I might look like a completely different person!’
Amanda Seyfried is star of Mean Girls and Mamma Mia, as well as other movies you’ve never seen like Red Riding Hood, Letters to Juliet, and Chloe, is already contemplating plastic surgery at a young age. “I’ve considered a lot of things like I want to have a nose job and fix my skin.”
Since Seyfried is only 25 herself, she realizes she’s still in her prime and has opted not to mess with a good thing… yet. She knows that when she does get older, however, certain alterations will look even more appealing to her. “Ask me in ten years,” Seyfried says. “I might look like a completely different person!”
In an interview with Elle earlier this year, Amanda Seyfried also admit that a director told her she needed Botox when she was just 20. Though she was insulted and did not follow through with the suggestion, Seyfried was not turned off of plastic surgery altogether. In fact, she even paid for her older sister’s rhinoplasty. Seeing her sis’ transformation is actually what got her thinking about getting a similar procedure for herself. “After she did it, I was like, ‘I could totally,’ it’s so accessible."
Amanda Seyfried who is on the list of celebrities with acne has also made it on the list of the Most Attractive Women.
